Rudi started as an intern at one of the world’s leading real estate companies and successfully completed his internship. He qualified as professional practitioner in real estate and went on with further studies to complete his NQF5 and PDE5. He has now upgraded to Master Practitioner in real estate which is currently the highest qualification that can be achieved through our board (PPRA)
He did not stop there and completed his assessor’s qualification and became a Seta Qualified Assessor and Facilitator in real estate (NQF4 and NQF 5). He brings to the table a world of knowledge that will benefit you the client.
After completing his studies Rudi opted to start his own real estate company but wanted to bring something different to the market.Hours was spent investigating the current/traditional real estate model and he was looking for an alternative. Why should you pay a % commission was the question?? Rudi’s goal has always been to “Go Beyond the Expected and to Create Clients for Life”. How we work
It needs to be understood that MiHOME is like any other agency and are registered with all boards and authorities as would be required by law. Our firm, principal and agents all have the required licences to trade and this could be supplied on request. So, what then makes MiHOME different to traditional agencies?
The traditional real estate model dictates that a client will contract an agency to sell their property and will pay them a percentage of the selling price. This percentage varies but can be as much as 7.5% + vat of the selling price. MiHOME decided to challenge the existing model and to bring to the table a negotiable and affordable flat fee model where we negotiate a flat fee with you our customer before listing your property. You could save thousands in traditional real estate commissions by using MiHOME to sell your property.
To add to the above the flat fee is only payable on successful sale of your property and only once the property registers in the deeds office. This means No sale, no fee! Yes MiHOME is fully licensed and our FFC’s is available on request.
MiHOME is a traditional agency in every way except for the fee structure. We belong to the EAAB (Estate Agency Affairs Board) and are bound by all the rules and regulations as set out by the board. So where does the difference then come in? Traditional agencies charges a percentage fee that could be as high as 7% + VAT to sell your property.
MiHOME does not charge a percentage fee to sell your property but rather charges a Negotiable Flat Fee as negotiated with you our client. By choosing MiHOME to sell your property you could save you thousands in traditional real estate commissions that could be used towards your future goals.
With MiHOME there are no Hidden cost? What we negotiate is what you pay so you know what you are in for and can plan accordingly This fee is also only payable on successful sale of your property. No upfront fees.
Our Professional Fee is only payable once the property registers in the deeds office. The same as with your traditional agencies. This means No Sale, No Fee.
MiHOME will advertise your property on marketing platforms like Property24 , Facebook etc and when permissible we will have show houses so that potential buyers can visit your property. We furthermore include professional photo’s, Videos, and this is at no cost to yourself. We assist our buyers with Preapproval Qualifications and will also handle all the negotiations of the sale on your behalf.
Absolutely not, MiHOME will always accompany the buyers to your premises and be by your side through the entire process and will be by your side.
