About our principal

Rudi started as an intern at one of the world’s leading real estate companies and successfully completed his internship. He qualified as professional practitioner in real estate and went on to complete his NQF5, and upgraded to achieve full principal status.

He further completed his assessor’s qualification and became a Seta qualified assessor and facilitator in real estate (NQF4 and NQF 5). Rudi opted to start his own real estate company but wanted to bring something different to the market.

Hours was spent investigating the current/traditional real estate model and looking for an alternative. Rudi’s goal has always been to “go beyond the expected” and to create “clients for life”.

With this in mind, MiHOME was established.

How MiHome works

The common real estate model dictates that a client will contract an agency to sell their property for a percentage of the selling price. This percentage varies but can be as much as 7.5% of the selling price.

MiHOME decided to challenge the existing model and to bring to the table an affordable flat fee model where we negotiate a flat fee with you our customer. You could save thousands in traditional real estate commissions by using MiHOME. With MiHOME there are NO hidden Costs.

To add to the above the flat fee is only payable on successful sale of your property. This means No sale, no fee!

This would mean that on successful sale of your property you will have to pay the agency a R138 000 in commission. At MiHome we will sell the same property for you at a Flat Fee negotiated with you.
